The Molten Salt Thermal Properties Working Group hosted a virtual workshop on the MSTDB virtually on April 25, 2023.
Thank you to the presenters who have worked on the MSTDB-TC and -TP content and on their applications at the virtual workshop/training on the databases hosted by the University of South Carolina April 25, 2023. We had over 160 registrants and throughout the day there was a steady ~90 connections to the meeting.
We got to hear from MSTDB developers about the current state of both arms of the database, about external quality assessment efforts, about NEAMS code integration efforts, from researchers who are using the databases to enable certain studies such as corrosion or reactor sensitivity analysis, and from reactor developers and how they are using the databases.
